Sound Therapy &
Workplace Wellness
Immersive sound experiences to support your nervous system, reduce streses, and restore balance - for individuals, groups and workplaces.
Sound-Based Stress Reduction™
The power of sound can sometimes feel like medicine for the nervous system. Long before science had language for it, cultures around the world understood that sound could heal. For centuries, people have used chanting, drumming, singing, and other forms of sound healing to create connection, support healing, and cultivate a greater sense of balance, well-being, and inner harmony.
Science is now beginning to explain what people throughout history have always felt. Research in neuroscience has shown that sound and rhythm can positively affect the brain, the nervous system, and the body's natural capacity for healing and restoration.
Clinical studies suggest that singing bowl therapy may help reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep quality, and influence patterns of brainwave activity associated with relaxation and well-being.
What Makes This Different
What makes my Sound-Based Stress Reduction™ approach unique from other sound healing experiences and traditional seated meditation is that I integrate my background in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, breathwork, and vocal toning into the overall experience. These immersive soundscapes and experiences naturally help clients gradually shift toward a calmer, more restored, and grounded state without needing to do anything at all.

“Laura's sound bath indulged us with a serene experience that was a welcome step away from our usual busy schedules and afforded us the opportunity to nourish ourselves with calm.”

Individual Sound-Based Stress Reduction™ Session
These individual sessions offer a deeply restorative sound healing experience within a clinically informed framework. The emphasis is on nervous system regulation through sound and vibration.
Sessions include a brief check-in, a body awareness practice, breathwork, gentle vocal toning, and an extended live sound healing experience. Afterwards there is time for integration and reflection.
This is a good fit for anyone seeking stress reduction, support during periods of overwhelm, or a healing experience that works beneath the level of words.
These sessions are 50-60 minutes.

Psychotherapy with Sound-Based Stress Reduction™ Session
This service brings together psychotherapy and sound healing within a single clinical session. Each session is bookended by sound — opening briefly with live sound to create the conditions for deeper therapeutic work, and closing with sound again to support integration before you leave. The heart of the session is talk therapy.
Well suited for individuals seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, or life transitions, who are also drawn to the healing power of sound.
These sessions are 50-60 minutes.

“Our team had the opportunity to experience a sound bath during our team-building day, which provided a deeply calming and grounding space. It supported nervous system regulation and offered a meaningful pause from the demands of our work, leaving the team feeling more centred and connected.”

Workplace Wellness
It is not surprising that burnout is now the number one challenge facing workplaces. People are carrying more than ever — work pressures, family demands, and a world that feels increasingly uncertain. When the nervous system is chronically taxed, it contributes to burnout and reduced performance in teams. Often the response is more productivity apps or education on self-care. But when the nervous system itself needs support, information alone is not enough.
Bringing Sound-Based Stress Reduction™ into your organisation signals to your team that what they are carrying is real — and that they deserve genuine support.
What Happens in the Room
Sessions can be delivered as a pure sound experience, as a structured workshop, or both. Structured workshops may include psychoeducation on stress and the nervous system, and a practical conversation about boundaries as a way to maintain wellbeing.
What makes these sessions memorable is the experience itself. When a group goes through something together — sitting quietly and letting sound do its work, something shifts. People leave having shared something real. Each participant receives a sound healing recording to take home.
Suitable for wellness days, retreats, team offsites, healthcare settings, and community organisations of any size.
“During the sound bath I felt very considered and cared for.”
— Executive Assistant, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto
I am able to travel to different recesses in my mind that are not always open or accessible through rest alone. It is an experience that I always look forward to and always come away from with enlightenment
