A little about me...

My approach is integrative, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities so that the work can be tailored to the person in front of me, rather than fitting clients into a single approach.I am also genuinely curious about the energetic and spiritual dimensions of human experience. I bring that curiosity into the room with clients who want to explore it, and set it aside entirely for those who do not. Whether you speak the language of neuroscience, the language of the body, or the language of the soul, there is a place for you here.

Much of my work focuses on helping you strengthen your sense of self-worth, feel more confident in your decisions, and navigate relationships while staying connected to your own feelings and needs. I often work with people who feel guilty when they try to set a boundary, struggle with anxiety, or have lost touch with their inner voice. In our sessions, we pay equal attention to what you are thinking, what you are feeling, and what is happening in your body. Over time, you begin to notice how stress, emotion, trauma, and long-standing patterns show up in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships too. You develop a greater awareness of these signals as they arise, and build tools for working with reactivity. We all have different parts of ourselves and it is helpful to explore these parts. Some feel anxious or critical, while others are trying to protect or cope. Understanding these parts can help you respond with more compassion and develop a greater self-trust.

Professional Experience & Training

I hold a Master of Social Work degree with a specialisation in Health and Mental Health from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. My clinical training was shaped significantly by the renowned Women's College Hospital's Trauma Therapy Programme. I have also trained in Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Sound Therapy, and Restorative Yoga. I have been receiving clinical consultation as needed from Dr. Brian Beech since 2014.

I have run my own private practice, offering talk, somatic, and sound therapy. Through this work, I continue to learn not only about therapy, but also about collaboration in both wellness and corporate spaces, and the many ways healing can take shape. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with many incredible people

My Approach

“I often say, half jokingly, that the goal is for clients to eventually become their own therapist — so in challenging moments, they feel confidence in what they need to do.”

About : About Me

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy hiking around the Thousand Islands with my partner, hosting sound healing events in Toronto and Gananoque, facilitating therapeutic groups, and creating original soundscapes and recordings. I am also part of a sound healing band that has been described as one of Toronto's most diverse soundscape groups.
